The Gamecock: Stags
conditioning Stags is different from conditioning
Kampapangan Gamefowl Breeders Association
Republic of the Philippines
Conditioning Stags is very different from
conditioning Gamecocks because they are still developing their
identities and their bodies are subject to the additional stress of
growing bone, muscles and feathers. The challenge is to train a Stag
to focus while not over training to where he is muscle-bound or is too shy
to protect his area. This is why we needed this special guide to
help us prepare for the Philippine Bakbakan and other Stag derbies.
